  1. Jen, Happy Holidays! I thought I would let you know how things are going. I’m regularly doing the exercises, although not always as many reps as prescribed per day. I think my swallowing is much better and I’m eating more variety. eg. apples (no peeling), raw carrots, meats (‘though easier when cooked), crisper items (crackers), etc. Thanks for your treatment and food tips. Question: Would singing be harmful or helpful?

    1. Hi Jan- That’s wonderful to hear that you are doing so well with eating all of those foods! Singing would not be harmful, but I don’t think that it would change your swallowing much. But if it is something that you enjoy, feel free to sing away. Happy Holidays to you too!
